California Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant uses no fresh water, and can provide 825,000 gallons of fresh water a day for the community. Molten Salt Reactors could power desalination equipment for all of USA.
Use Heat from Molten Salt Reactors, running at much higher temperatures than water-cooled reactors, for Industrial uses, including making carbon-neutral fuels, or desalinating water.
